Croatian “Watergate”: New Security Head Named

In the aftermath of what has been dubbed the Croatian “Watergate”, Ivica Panenic has been named as the new head of the Office of the National Security Council.
Panenic takes over the reins from Petar Misevic, who was given his marching orders after an affair involving telephone records being leaked to the police was revealed.
Panenic’s appointment was announced by both the office of the President Ivo Josipovic and Prime Minister Zoran Milanovic, reported Tportal.
