Huge investment in the central Dalmatian town of Klis is on its way, with news that a Hungarian-Chinese consortium is set to build a solar panel factory in the town, writes daily Slobodna Dalmacija…
The daily reports that a deal had been reached on Wednesday night which will see the consortium build a solar panel factory in Kurtovići, near Klis, which will employ up to 500 workers. Slobodna Dalmacija did not name the consortium, but suggested that the deal would be realised within the next six months.
“The agreement is signed, the implementation of this factory is no longer in question, and without exaggerating I can say that this is an investment that will be one of the largest in the history of Croatia,” said a Slobodna Dalmacija source.
