A new road safety law has been passed in parliament this week and those caught infringing by using their mobile phones whilst riding their bike face fines of up to 500 kuna (65 euros), writes Glas Slavonija. Besides bicyclists, tram drivers have also been banned from using mobile phones whilst driving trams in Croatia this week, and now join those operating motor vehicles as those not permitted to use mobile devices whilst on the roads.
