Following on from the success of their fellow countrymen at the International Mathematical Olympiad in South Africa earlier this month where Croats picked up five medals including one gold, the Croatian team at the 26th International Olympiad in Informatics, which wrapped up on the weekend in Taipei City, have picked up three medals…
Led by Aron Bohr, Marin Tomić, and Krešimir Malnar, the Croatian students done exceptionally well to claim three medals in what was a tough competition that featured the best 300 odd students from 81 countries.
Medals:
Silver – Mislav Balunović (Slavonski Brod), Dominik Gleich (Zagreb)
Bronze – Mislav Bradač (Zagreb)
The International Olympiad in Informatics is an annual programming competition first held in Bulgaria in 1989.
