Dinamo Zagreb have taken a precious goal back to Maksimir stadium for the 2nd leg of their 3rd round UEFA Champions League qualifying fixture against Danish champions Aalborg…
The Croatian champions beat Aalborg 0-1 in front of around 10,000 Danish fans at Nordjyske Arena thanks to a goal early in the second half by Croatian international Marcelo Brozović.
“I am satisfied with the win, but I have mixed feelings. The most important thing we have to decipher is how to relieve the team from pressure. I am happy with how we reacted in the second half after what we talked about at the break,” said coach Zoran Mamić.
Dinamo Zagreb’s goal scorer on the night is hoping he can find the net again in the return leg next week in Zagreb.
“It was a good match with few chances. We scored, we did not concede and it is an excellent away result. We need to prepare well for the return in Zagreb. It will not be easy as Aalborg showed they are a quality side,” said Brozović. (Pic: GNK Dinamo)
