TripAdvisor, which has more than 250 million unique monthly visitors and operates in 39 countries around the globe, recognises top performing attractions around the world based on feedback from those that matter the most – the customer. Mimara Museum, which is now in the top 10% on TripAdvisor based on candid feedback from customers, picked up the prestigious award.

At the moment visitors to Mimara Museum in Zagreb have the chance to see, among a host of other exhibits, the famed statue of the Croatian Apoxiomen, and a masterpiece of Hellenistic sculpture found in Croatian waters.
When selecting Certificate of Excellence winners, TripAdvisor uses a proprietary algorithm to determine the honorees that takes into account reviews ratings. Businesses must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five. Volume and recency of reviews, as well as a business’ tenure and popularity ranking are also factored into the algorithm.
