According to daily Slobodna Dalmacija, the tragedy happened at around 16:30 on Sunday when the 4-year-old was swimming at the Hotel Bonaca pool in Bol on the island. The daily says that the boy was only with his 16-year-old sister at the time. The young boys body was taken to Split hospital where an autopsy will take place today.
