His father was a top class footballer, scoring Croatia’s winner in their thrilling 2-1 victory against Italy at the 2002 FIFA World Cup in Japan, now Boris Rapaić (17) looks like he will follow father Milan to football stardom…
Rapaić junior will meet today with Italian giants Inter Milan, with documents ready for the Hajduk Split youngster to sign, reports daily Slobodna Dalmacija. Rapaić will reportedly go out on loan first to Inter, with them having rights to buy out his contract after 12 months.
Milan Rapaić, who had a magical left foot, played 49 times for the Croatian national team and enjoyed stints at Italian clubs Perugia and Ancona, as well as with Fernerbahce in Turkey, Standard Liege in Belgium and Hajduk Split and Trogir in Croatia. (pic: UEFA)
