1,100 pieces of 30×30 centimetre grass were sold for 50 kuna (around 6.50 euros) during the 1-day sale, meaning the club returned a profit of 55,000 kuna, or just over 7,200 euros. The club fielded purchase requests from as far as Australia, Canada, Argentina and the USA for a piece of the turf which was laid in 1979.
