Croatian Mićo Tatalović has realised a dream of many science journalists after landing a job as editor of one the most well-known international science magazines…
Tatalović (31) will start his new role as editor of environmental and biological science news at New Scientist next month.
“At the start of November I will start work as editor of news from the field of environmental and biological sciences, basically everything that has to do with the planet and life on it. I will work on both the print and online magazine,” said Tatalović, who studied at both Oxford and Cambridge University in the UK.
Tatalović said that he applied for the job at New Scientist after seeing the vacancy advertised, and after two grueling interviews, he was offered the role.
Based in London, England, New Scientist is a weekly international science magazine, founded by Tom Margerison in 1956, which publishes editions in the UK, the United States, and Australia. Since 1996 it has also run a website. The magazine is sold in retail outlets and on subscription, and covers current developments, news, reviews and commentary on science and technology.
