4 Billion HRK Set Aside to Help Finance Good Ideas

Minister of Entrepreneurship and Trades Gordan Maras has announced that the programme this year will be worth more than 4 billion kuna (310 million euros). Businesses and budding entrepreneurs will be able to secure financial support to the tune of 2 million euros for production projects, and up to 1.3 million euros for tourism orientated business concepts.
Businesses and entrepreneurs will be invited to apply for funding, with the government financing 45% of the cost of projects which are successful. Minister Maras is expecting a host of innovative ideas when the first round of applications open in March. The programme hopes to development of small and medium-sized businesses in Croatia and stimulate growth in new jobs.
