No, it is not a bit of Photoshop trickery.
The usually azure pristine Adriatic sea in Vrboska on the stunning Dalmatian island of Hvar turned brown on Sunday, but there is no need to panic, it was just an act of nature.
Heavy rainfall over the weekend had washed down soil from the nearby UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Stari Grad Plain down the Vrboska canal into the Adriatic sea, reported leading Hvar portal Total Hvar.
It is not the first time that this has phenomenon has happened. Total Hvar reported last year that the same thing occurred, with the discolouring only lasting a couple of days.
