Property Asking Prices Slightly Up On Year

There has been minimal growth in property asking prices over the past 12 months…

According to leading Croatian real estate market portal Centar nekretnina, asking prices at the end of February were up 0.3% on the month prior, whilst they had risen just 0.2% on February last year.

Zagreb – Houses: 1,114 euros m2 – +1.8%
Adriatic Coast – Apartments: 2,019 euros m2 – -0.7%
Adriatic Coast – Flats: 1,580 euros m2 – -2.1%
Adriatic Coast – Houses: 1,530 euros m2 – -1.9%

The most expensive property in Zagreb based on average asking prices is the suburb of Medveščak, where the average asking price is 2,034 euros m2, followed by the Centre (1,926 euros m2). The lowest average asking price is in Sesvete (1,124 euros m2).

Asking prices over the last 12 months have dropped slightly on the Adriatic coast, with the Dubrovnik-Neretva County still the most expensive part of the coast (2,599 euros m2). Split-Dalmatia and Primorje-Gorski Kotar County (2,000 euros m2) were next. The lowest average asking prices on the coast were in the Istria (1,706 euros) and Zadar (1,713 euros m2) Counties.
