The Guinness record for the largest chocolate square in the world could have been set in the Croatian city of Split over the weekend…
A 16 metre long, 6.5 metre wide (101m2), one centimetre thick chocolate square was proudly on display at Split’s Peristil this weekend, and organisers are hoping that they have set a new Guinness record in the process. Made by chocolate manufactures Nadalina to celebrate the firms 25th anniversary, more than 800 kilograms of dark chocolate was used in the record-breaking attempt, which was then polished off by locals and tourists.
Nadalina will now await confirmation from Guinness if in fact it was the largest chocolate square in the world. (photo / Split Tourist Board)
