Experience Zagreb as it was Centuries Ago

Ever wondered what Croatia’s capital Zagreb was like in the ‘old days’? Thanks to a Zagreb Tourist Board initiative, tourists, and locals alike, have the chance to go back in time to experience a bygone era in the city…

Zagreb Vremeplov (Zagreb Time-Machine), now in its 8th year, has been a huge success as tourists get the opportunity to stroll through the streets of the romantic upper town, meeting all the heroes who marked the past and present of Zagreb, whilst being treated to historical singing and dancing. There are a range of other attractions in the programme, including promenade concerts, dance evenings at Zrinjevac, folklore performances, market stall sellers from Dolac, an Upper Town musical panorama, and the changing of the guard of honour of the Cravat Regiment.
