English jazz, pop and rock drummer Simon Phillips, who was best known for his 22-year stint with the rock band Toto, will play at Zagreb’s Green Gold on 11 May. Phillips, who also has played for the likes of Mick Jagger, The Who, Judas Priest, Tears for Fears, Mike Oldfield, and Gary Moore, will play in the Croatian capital as part of his 2015 Second Orbit Tour.
Phillips was drummer for The Who in their 1989 American reunion tour, and appeared on solo recordings by band members Roger Daltrey and Pete Townshend. He left Toto in 2014 to pursue a solo career. (photo / wikimedia)
