The largest adrenaline water park in Croatia is set to open this Saturday…
Aquacolors Poreč, located on the north-western coast in Mornarica just two kilometres south of Poreč, will open its doors to the public on 16 May. The 25 million euros adrenaline water park will have 17 various adrenalin rides on its 10 hectare space, and will be able to handle more than 5,000 visitors per day.
“This is one quality tourist project, which will undoubtedly raise the attraction of the town of Poreč,” said Tourism Minister Darko Lorencin.
Along with the adrenaline rides, which include 2 looping rockers, Spheres, Magicone, Black Hole, Freefall, Space Boat, Turbolance and a 200-metre family rafting slide, a 2,700 square metre pool, long lazy river, beach volleyball area, wave pool, water rodeo, boxing ring, surf simulator, water football and trampolines will also be features at the new water park, which will be the largest of its kind in Croatia.
Visitors to Aquacolors Poreč can also satisfy their hungers at the number of eateries and cafes on site. There will also be 800 sun umbrellas and 1,000 sun loungers and which guests can chill out on.
Aquacolors Poreč will employ 14 people full-time, with another 120 seasonal workers from May – the end of September.
All day adult passes start off at 185 kuna (25 euros), with kids under 15 and students under 26 paying 145 kuna (21 euros).
