Croatia keeps on rolling out the stunning tourism promotional videos…
Arguably one of the most photogenic countries in the world, a number of tourism promo video awards have not surprisingly gone Croatia’s way in recent times. The Split-Dalmatia County Tourist Board beat 68 other videos from around the world to win the award for the Best Short Promotional Video at the Baku International Tourism Film Festival in Azerbaijan, whilst the video ‘Šibenik you are beautiful’, promoting the Dalmatian town of Šibenik, was awarded second prize in the Best Tourist Video – Towns – category at the world’s biggest tourism fair in Berlin.
The latest video in line for an award is Trogir Tourist Board’s latest promotional video. Trogir is a finalist in the Deauville Green Awards, an international festival held in France in June.
Trogir is a historic town and harbour near Split on the Dalmatian coast. It is situated on a small island between the Croatian mainland and the island of Čiovo. and since 1997, the historic centre of Trogir has been included in the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites.
