More than 25,000 people have turned out over the weekend to watch the International Fireworks Festival at Zagreb’s lake Bundek..
Local Croatian fireworks display team ‘Mirnovec’, who are also one of Europe’s biggest pyrotechnic production and display companies, were joined by teams from Italy and Slovenia at this year’s festival. Families enjoyed in the creative choreography and impressive scenes in the night sky. There were also concerts and a luna park for the kids to enjoy. The event, which has been running for over a decade and always draws a massive crowd, is unique to this part of Europe.
