Ultra Europe Music Festival Forces Change of Venue for Hajduk Split’s UEFA Europa League Tie

Those hoping to watch Hajduk Split in European action at Poljud stadium early next month will be disappointed…
Hajduk Split have drawn Estonian club JK Sillamäe Kalev in the first round of qualifying for the UEFA Europa League starting early next month. With the return leg scheduled to played in Split on 9 July, Hajduk Split have announced that the match has been shifted to Dugopolje on the outskirts of Split because their home ground, Poljud stadium, is being prepared for the Ultra Europe music festival which will be held their later in the month.
The club tried to convince the Estonians to play the first leg on 2 July in Split, but to no avail. Hrvatski vitezovi stadium in Dugopolje can hold around 4,500 people.
