Locals and tourists had an opportunity to have a dance last night on Zagreb’s main square as Trg Ban Jelačić played host to a dance event to celebrate French National Day…
14 July is a day where the French commemorate the beginning of the French Revolution with the Storming of the Bastille on 14 July 1789, and the Rendez-vous – festival of French culture in Croatia had organised ‘Le Plesnjak’ to mark the occasion in the capital.
Professional French dancer Nicolas Quesnoit, who was a Dancing with the Stars winner, and other trained dancers led off the evening showing the crowd how its done, before the square was opened up to the public to do their thing to some well-know French dance tunes.
