It all started almost 70 years ago when a group of cobblers made shoes for miners from Zagorje…
Leading Croatian shoe manufacturer Ivančica from the northern town of Ivanec have for a number of years been successfully exporting to demanding markets around the world. According to the N1, workers at the plant produce thousands of pairs of high-quality shoes daily, and over 1 million pairs annually.
Most of shoes produced in Croatia are exported, with exports increasing since Croatia joined the EU. This year exports to Germany have tripled. Besides Germany, Ivančica exports to more than 20 countries around the globe, including some big markets such as the UK, France, Austria, USA, Canada and Asia. From its humble beginnings nearly 70 years ago, Ivančica has developed into a major company, employing over 800 people today.
“We are successful because we believe. We believe in our people, in our products, in our achieved successes and those to come. Part of our success consists of our retail network – 36 BAMBI and FRODDO stores, 2 online stores, and the Mon Allure shop”, the company says.
The company says their BAMBI and FRODDO children’s brands are more than just collections of children’s footwear. Behind every successful brand there is team of successful, motivated people.
“BAMBI and FRODDO are friends of children and their parents – they make happy moments even better, and great memories unforgettable. The Mon Allure line of shoes is designed for working women on the go – they invoke determination and confidence in each business opportunity”, the company says.
