In what was the shortest final in the history of the ATP Croatia Open in Umag, Austrian Dominic Thiem has beaten Joao Sousa to claim the 26th Konzum Croatia Open on Sunday night…
Thiem was too good for his opponent, winning 6:4, 6:1 in just 61 minutes. The previous shortest final was 62 minutes when Tommy Robredo beat Fabio Fognini in 2013.
The match was watched by a full house in Umag, including world number one Novak Djoković and Croatia President Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović.
