The only film festival in Croatia that exclusively screens Croatian documentaries needs your support…
Held in the small, Mediterranean town of Ičići near Opatija, the 13th Liburnia Film Festival has launched a crowdfunding campaign to fund an Audience Award and Jury Award at this year’s festival which will be held from 25-29 August 2015.
The aim of the campaign, which includes some fantastic rewards, is simple – to support the most talented Croatian documentary filmmakers for their current work and, in doing so, support their future projects.
The team is looking to raise $3,500 which will go towards the awards and some of the perks in return for a donation to the cause include accommodation and dinner during the festival, Croatian documentaries, festival memorabilia, and a chance to present the winner with the award at the festival.
The Liburnia Film Festival (LFF) is an admission-free film festival screening the best Croatian documentaries of the year. LFF is the longest running documentary film festival in Croatia, and the only one screening exclusively Croatian documentaries, screening more than 300 documentary films over the last 12 years.
