Revenue Up 3.5% From Tourism Activites in Croatia

The total financial revenue from accommodation, food services and from the activities of travel agencies and tour operators in the first seven months of the 2012 totaled 1.6 billion euros, 3.5 per cent up from the same period last year.

Looking at the breakdown, the highest revenue was achieved in the hotel sector and similar accommodation facilities with 711 million euros or 8.7 per cent more than in 2011, reported website index.hr.

In the same period, tour operators realized 17 per cent more revenue, campsites 8 per cent, while resorts and travel agencies recorded similar revenues as in 2011.
