Kircek Becomes Second Croatian Supplier for IKEA’s European Stores

Leading solid wood panel manufacturer Kircek, from Ljubešćica near Varaždin, has become just the second Croatian firm to be a supplier for Swedish giants IKEA…
From September Kircek will supply IKEA’s European stores, including the Zagreb store, with oak kitchen benches. The firm plan to manufacture around 20,000 of the benches in two sizes.
“As we said, when we opened the IKEA store in Zagreb it opened up the possibility for suppliers from Croatia and the region to work with IKEA. We are happy that, along with Tvin, we have found another successful partner in Croatia,” said IKEA’s Director in Croatia Dragan Skalaušević.
Founded in 1950 and employing around 50 people, Kircek has extensive experience in solid wood processing, and specialises in solid oak processing.
