Plenty has been happening in the Dalmatian town of Nin this summer. After the festivals of salt and sand, the town is set to host another event…
Earlier this year internet portal europeanbestdestinations.com bestowed Nin with the title of one of the most romantic destinations in Europe, and the Nin Tourist Board are celebrating that with ‘Romantic Night’, a night of romance in the historic town centre on 22 August.
Romantic Night will include a number of interesting romantic adventures, such as visitors and tourists being invited to leave their memories and impressions on the memory wall near the Lower town gates, buying roses, and greeting and having photos taken with many historical figures on the streets (King Tomislav with his royal escort, Peter Zoranić from Nin, Roman women, fairies, etc.).
There will also be love benches and kissing points marked with romantic signs in town on the night which where young couples are invited to take a photo and send their pictures in. The best photos will be win a romantic dinner on Nin’s sandy beach. Performer Jure Brkljača will be taking care of the romantic atmosphere on the night.
Restaurants in town will also get into the spirit of the night by decorating their restaurants in the spirit of romance and they will also be preparing special surprises for guests on the night.
Open your heart and leave a trail for the generations to come because as someone once said: “People change, but memories are forever.”
