Handmade Croatian Educational Children’s Toy Brand Launches Indigogo Campaign

Brightening minds, one puzzle at the time…

Margareta, a Croatian brand that produces educational, high quality, handmade, and Eco-friendly toys for children, have launched a crowdfunding campaign on Indigogo.

Margareta is a set of wooden multicolored geometric shapes that are didactic puzzles. They can be converted into 3D shapes such as trees, houses, mountains, etc. Margareta toys are made of lightweight, high-quality linden wood, and are painted with environmentally safe non-toxic paints.

Children ages two and up will enjoy balancing shapes, while the older children can arrange pieces in a cardboard box as instructed. Margareta toys develops logical thinking, visual perception, improves concentration, helps learning the basic colors, and also provide great entertainment for the whole family.

Behind Margareta toys hides me, Academic sculptor Margareta Lekic. After years of artistic and pedagogical experience with children of different age I decided to combine a love for art and logic which resulted as educational toys for children.

Creator of Margareta toys is 33-year-old academic sculptor Margareta Lekic from Osijek. After years of artistic and pedagogical experience with children of different age, Margareta has decided to combine a love for art and logic which resulted as educational toys for children.

“Here at Margareta we believe that within every child lies a mind with unbelievable potential. We think of our toys as a spark to ignite their creative potential. I make toys in a small workshop with old tools. Now, I would be happy to move to a slightly bigger factory and buy some new saws, sanding machines, packaging and paint, don’t forget the paint! This is why I’m here, to give children beautiful childhood moments of happiness,” she says.
