The Croatian economy grew 2.8% on the year in the third quarter of 2015, the fastest growth since Q2 in the pre-recession year 2008, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics said today…
Rising exports, great tourist trade post season and an increase in industrial output has helped Croatia’s economy grow faster than the EU average, and this quarter record the second largest GDP percentage point growth in Europe.
The last time the economy grew by more than 2.8% was back in 2008 when the year-on-year GDP growth was 2.9%.
“It gives me extreme pleasure to tell you that in the third quarter we achieved GDP growth of 2.8%. This rate confirms that this government has lifted Croatia out of the economic crisis. said Minister Branko Grčić.
It was the fourth straight quarter that Croatia has had positive GDP growth.
