Bomb From World War II Found In Eastern Croatia

Police in the eastern Croatian town of Slavonski Brod evacuated an area in the centre of town of Tuesday after locals discovered a bomb believed to be from the Second World War.
Houses in a 200 metre radius of the bomb, which was discovered after locals were digging out the back of a house in Jagicevoj Street, were evacuated.
“It is a bomb which we think came from an American jet plane with the manufacturing symbol GP500L,” said a police official at the scene. The bomb, which is believed to carry 120kg’s worth of explosives, will be destroyed later today.
