Spanish giants Real Madrid are chasing talented 18-year old Croatian Ante Ćorić…
According to an exclusive report on website tportal.hr, a delegation from Real Madrid arrived in Zagreb this week to meet with Ćorić’s representatives.
The Dinamo Zagreb teen has become a target of some of the top clubs in Europe over the past few months, with Porto and Manchester City in particular showing a keen interest. With Luka Modrić and Mateo Kovačić already in their ranks, it seems that Real Madrid are keen to add another Croatian to their squad.
The report says successful management pair Andy Bara and Božo Slišković helped with the arrangements in bringing the Madrid representatives to Zagreb. Although it was not confirmed what was being negotiated at the meeting, it has been the understanding that Dinamo would not let Ćorić go for less than 12 million euros.
“Yes, we met, because people from Real Madrid wanted to hear what kind of desire and ambition the player (Ćorić) has. Real is interested, but now it is up to Dinamo,” Bara told tportal.hr.
Ćorić, who was born on 14 April 1997, first caught the attention as a 12-year-old kid when he was invited to Red Bull Salzburg to play. After four years in Austria he returned to his homeland and made his way into the Dinamo Zagreb first team.
When Dinamo played Bayern Munich in the last round of the Champions League earlier this month, Pep Guardiola told the press that he had no doubts that Ćorić would have a big career in the game. Last month Ćorić expressed a desire to leave Maksimir for a bigger club.
