Croatia international Luka Modrić played his 100th match for Real Madrid in Spain’s Primera on Sunday night…
Modrić had to settle for a 2:2 away draw with Valencia in his jubilee match for the Kings’ club on Sunday night.
The former Dinamo Zagreb midfielder is now in his fourth season at the Bernabeu and has put on the Real Madrid shirt 151 times. Last night however was his 100th appearance for Real in Spain’s Primera.
In his century of matches, Modrić has experienced victory 71 times, and scoring just 5 times. Modrić chalked up the most appearances in the 2013/14 season when he played 34 matches. So far this season he has played 17 times.
Luka has a long way to go if he wants to become the most-capped foreigner. That honour belongs to Brazilian Roberto Carlos, who played 370 times.
