Stunning Video Helps Zadar’s Best European Destination Title Campaign

The beautiful Dalmatian city of Zadar will find out this week if it has won the title of ‘European Best Destination 2016’…
Zadar is one of 20 destinations in Europe, including Athens, Prague, London, Paris, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Berlin, Madrid, Milan and Rome, vying for the title of ‘European Best Destination 2016′ organised by portal European Best Destinations.
After early voting, which closes on 10 February, Zadar was near the top and ahead of the likes of Paris, London and Barcelona. What is helping Zadar’s cause is an excellent campaign from the local tourist board titled #birajzadar (Choose Zadar).
They have managed to get some big names, including Real Madrid star and Zadar’s own Luka Modrić, to push the cause all at home and abroad.

The Croatian Tourist Board have also got in on the act and produce a 1-minute clip showcasing Zadar’s beauty. Check out the video below:
