Filming is currently going on across Croatia for 20 half-hour episodes for a TV culinary travelogue around Croatia titled ‘Croatia’s Finest’…
One of the UK’s top chefs, Dhruv Baker, has arrived in Croatia to film a show which will showcase Croatian cuisine around the world.
“A lovely welcome to Croatia, home for the next 2 weeks. Stunning produce in season. And tomorrow it begins properly. Filming for 12 days finding the most exciting and interesting food & wine of the Istrian peninsula,” Baker tweeted.
Croatia’s Finest, which will be distributed by London’s Optimum Television around the globe, will present culinary, cultural, historical and general tourist attractions of Croatia. The series is set to air in the summer.

Dhruv began his career in food after winning MasterChef 2010. Born in Mexico and raised in India prior to moving to the UK in 1989, Dhruv has worked in some of the UK’s finest restaurants including Le Gavroche, The Kitchin and Helene Darroze at the Connaught. A regular at the BBC Good Food Shows, he is also a presenter on Waitrose TV, a regular contributor for numerous publications and a brand consultant.
