Thousands of Eggs Scrambled for Traditional Free Easter Monday Breakfast in Šibenik

It has been an Easter Monday tradition in Šibenik on Croatia’s Dalmatian coast for the last 12 years and each year it gets bigger and bigger…
The traditional Easter Monday breakfast shout by the Šibenik Tourist Board and the Šibenik City Council has taken place once again today. More than 2,000 eggs and 15 kilograms of pancetta were used to make a giant scrambled eggs on Monday in the town centre.
Portions, as well as, ham, cheese pršut, spring onions and bread, where then dished out free to locals and tourists. Local Šibenik children’s folklore group Balarin, children’s choir Cvarcak, KU Sustine, Klapa Sebenico and Šibenik City Guard made sure visitors were entertained throughout the morning.
