Some more top quality 100% Croatian designed and made products hit the shelf…

Ann Pavletić and Filip Janičić from Diversis Media creative studio, who specialise in graphic and product design, and the development and production of products, have introduced some more cool Croatian made products – a collection of products for the kitchen made 100% from wood.

Diversis Media have previously won a number of design awards, including a gold medal at the International Exhibition of Inventions – INOVA – for a pocket ashtray they designed and produced. They have also created a series of ‘green’ products, including a brand of biodegradable bags for dog waste called Poo Poo bags which are distributed by all major Croatian and Slovenian pet stores.

The pair’s latest products are the Paul Faber line of kitchen products – cutting boards, salt & pepper shakers, spice lines and napkin rings. Every product is made from carefully selected pieces of wood.

“The products are made from beech and cherry wood, and all products are finished with a certified organic water-based varnish, and are made by combining modern technology and hand finishing,” explain Ann and Philip, the pair behind Paul Faber.

Paul Faber is the alter ego of the creative team, he is a modernist, a minimalist impressed by geometric patterns, textures and materials. At the same time Paul Faber represents a concept – a Small Manufacturer: Small – lat . Paulus – Paulo, Paul Manufacturer – lat . Faber.

Currently Paul Faber products are available at the Croatian Design Store, Take Me Home, GET, GET, GET and Komo design store in Pula. Negotiations are ongoing to have them stocked at Da’r concept store on the island of Korčula, Lux design store on the island of Hvar as well as at other stores around Croatia.
