Croatian ‘My Ballerinas’ Launch in the States on ModCloth

Another great coup for Croatian shoe manufacture Borovo…
One of the world’s fastest growing online retailers have started selling Borovo My Ballerinas and they having a great response already. Headquartered in San Francisco, ModCloth is an American online retailer of vintage-inspired and indie clothing, accessories and decor.
ModCloth have made both the “World’s 50 Most Innovative Companies” and “Most Innovative Social Media Companies” list in recent times. ModCloth first recorded over $100 million in retail sales in 2012. In 2015, ModCloth opened two pop-up stores. The first was a three-day event in Los Angeles while the second is still operating in San Francisco after opening in July.
Borovo, who are behind the Startas brand and based in Vukovar, are Croatia’s oldest shoe manufacturer and have had success in new markets overseas in the last 24 months, including the United States, Canada, Singapore and Australia. The shoes are produced in Vukovar using 100% Croatian products. Borovo today has 780 employees and 97 stores in Croatia.
