Book Boat – Boat of Culture to Hit the Adriatic Coast this Month

This year will be the 10th anniversary of the MasterCard – Book Boat – Boat of Culture…

The MasterCard® – Book Boat – Boat of Culture will set sail on Croatia’s Adriatic coast for the 10th time on 23 July 2016 from Makarska, ending tour in Trogir on 5 August. As well as a number of Croatia’s most well-known authors, the boat will also have guest on board from the United States, who are the country partner.

As well as over 3,000 books on board at discounted prices, the boat will feature theatre and cultural performances, book promotions, concerts, creative workshops for kids, happy hour for book sales and more. All the programmes are free. This year the programme is dedicated to Marija Jurić Zagorka, the most read Croatian author in history.
