After the Croatian-designed smart benches have proven to be a hit around the world comes another invention from Croatia – the smart beach shower…
Three young innovators, Matias Knežević (20), Kristijan Gorupić (21) and Niko Jeleč (21) from Pitaya Solutions are behind the smart showers.
The prototype smart shower is set to be placed shortly in Osijek, the city of the company which has invented it.
“Our showers collect solar energy during the day, and after sunset automatically activate lighting. The showers also have advertising panels and provide flat 4G Internet (0-24 hours) for a large number of users,” Pitaya Solutions say about their Smart Shower LOOPS.
If everything goes to plan the multi-purpose showers should be located up and down the Adriatic coast next summer. The trio claim, after extensively searching the internet, that their LOOP showers are the first smart showers in the world.
The trio say that they have invested around 20,000 euros in the smart showers and say they will cost around 8,000 euros each. They are working on also developing a cheaper, smaller version for the home and swimming pools.
