Croatia will face Northern Ireland in a football friendly in November…
It has been confirmed that the two sides will meet at Windsor Park in Northern Ireland on 15 November 2016 at 20:45. Like Croatia, Northern Ireland made it through to the last 16 at EURO in France this summer. Northern Ireland are currently ranked 30th in the FIFA rankings.
“This will be a great game for us. Croatia are a top-class European team and it’s great that we will be playing them at home”, Northern Ireland manager Michael O’Neill said.
Before facing Northern Ireland Ante Čačić’s side will play two World Cup qualifiers, first against Kosovo away on 6 October, followed by a trip to Finland on 9 October. Three days before the Northern Ireland clash on 12 November Croatia face Iceland at home in another qualifier.
