Six Croatian tech companies have made Deloitte’s list of the 50 fastest growing technology companies in Central Europe…
The highest-ranked Croatian firm on this year’s Deloitte Technology Fast 50 was Osijek-based software developers Gauss in 19th place.
Next on the list was electric car and parts manufacturer Rimac automobili in 20th spot, followed by software design and development firm Axilis (22nd), Zadar-based digital marketing company Telum (23rd), mobile phone manufacturers and tech firm Hangar 18 (28th) and software development outsourcing firm Serengeti from Zagreb in 39th place.
Out of all the Croatian tech firms on the list this year, only Serengeti featured in the last year’s Deloitte Technology Fast 50.
The ‘Deloitte Technology Fast 50’ is a prestigious annual award which honours the fastest growing Central European technology companies, based on the percentage of revenue growth over a five-year period (2012-2015). Revenue growth is calculated in local currency. Companies must meet a minimum revenue threshold (in Euros) in order to qualify.
All of the five top tech firms on this year’s fast 50 were making their debuts on the list. In first place was Polish firm Codewise who enjoyed 13,052% revenue growth over the last three years. Poland’s CodiLime software business was ranked second with a three-year growth rate of 5,038%.
Third place in the Fast 50 went to Czech IT services company Dataspring, with its three-year growth rate of 3,129%. Poland has 17 companies in the ranking, Czech Republic has 7, Croatia 6, and Slovakia 5. Croatia went down from 8 firms on the list last year.
