British Airways Announce New Route to Croatia from London Heathrow

After reports that Croatia Airlines are set to move their London operations from Heathrow to Gatwick airport, news that British Airways are to commence a new route to Croatia from Heathrow.
It was announced on Tuesday that after years of negotiations, British Airways would launch a new route to Pula from London Heathrow next year.
British Airways will fly twice a week to Pula, Croatia from London Heathrow. The flights, which will operate on Tuesdays and Saturdays, will run through the summer months of July, August and September.
“The route will be operated by an Airbus 319, which has a capacity of 143 passengers, and an Airbus 320 which has a capacity of 177 passengers. British Airways will be the sixth airline which will connect London and Pula after Easyjet, Norwegian, Thomson Airways, Ryanair and Jet2.com, but the first to fly to one of Europe’s busiest airports, London Heathrow,” Pula Airport said in a statement.
British Airways currently fly to Zagreb, Split and Dubrovnik with Pula becoming their fourth destination in Croatia.
In 2017 Pula will be connected with Europe’s four main airports – London Heathrow, Paris Charles de Gaulle, Frankfurt and Amsterdam.
