A pilot programme providing free Wi-Fi on Zagreb trams has been launched, poslovni.hr reports.
Three trams, which are in most frequent use as they changes lines often, currently have been equipped with free Wi-Fi so passengers can freely surf the internet in the first phase of the project.
Since the trial begun Zagreb Electric Tram (ZET) says that around 15,000 passengers have used the service, with Facebook the most popular site accessed, followed by Viber, WhatsApp and news portals.
The trial will be used to gauge the interest and response from commuters and if successful will be launched across the city.
