Croatian Teen Singing Star Mia Negovetić Heads to US to Record Single

Talented 14-year-old Croatian singer Mia Negovetić, who shone in the second season of NBC show Little Big Shot last year, has been dazzling some of the world’s biggest record labels in the United States.
Mia, who is from Rijeka on the northern Adriatic coast, travelled to the United States at the invitation of several world’s biggest record labels to present her first single.
Mia was in Washington and New York, performing at Atlantic Records, Universal Music Group, Sony ATV and other studios, daily 24sata reported.
All songs performed, accompanied by the young pianist Sean Alecandar who performs with the famous singer Zara Larson. All her performances in America were with young pianist Sean Alecandar, who has played with singers such as Zara Larrson.
In Baltimore Mia worked with well known producer Matt Squire, who has written hits for the likes of Ariana Grande, One Direction, Demi Lovato and Kesha.
“I am excited because it is the first time I am working on my own songs and in the Unted States. I enjoy working with very professional people. I am very satisfied how I am progressing and I am happy that my first song will be released”, Mia said.
Besides the excitement of a new single, Mia also received an offer to be part of the film agency ‘Lisa Lax’ and to play roles in TV series.
Mia, first hit the headlines in Croatia after her rendition of the Croatian national anthem at the 20th Anniversary of Operation Storm Parade went viral in August last year.
Producers from the Ellen DeGeneres Show and Little Big Shots first saw Mia performing ‘Listen’ on YouTube, which then already had over a million views, and contacted her school.

Mia’s first single is due to be released in June this year.
