Legendary English band Deep Purple will be joined by former Black Sabbath frontman Tony Martin at their one-off concert in Zagreb in May.
Deep Purple, considered to be among the pioneers of heavy metal and modern hard rock after forming in the late 1960’s, will play at Arena Zagreb on 16 May 2017 as part of their ‘The Long Goodbye’ tour.
It was announced today that Martin and Bosnian heavy metal band Divlje jagode will be support acts on the night.
Martin fronted Black Sabbath initially from 1987 to 1991 and then again from 1993 to 1997.
He was the band’s second longest serving vocalist after Ozzy Osbourne. Martin has many talents, and plays guitar, bass, drums, violin, keyboards, harmonica, bagpipes, and pan pipes.
