12th Pearl of the Sea to be Held in Supetar on the Island of Brač

200 chefs from 20 countries will once again descend on the town of Supetar on the Dalmatian island of Brač next month for the 12th Biser Mora – Pear of the Sea.
Again over 1,000 people are expected to attend Pear of the Sea, which will be held this year from 6 – 9 April 2017 at Svpetrvs hoteli in Supetar.
Over the last 11 years ‘Pearl of the Sea’ has grown into a significant gastro event on the Mediterranean.
Over 500 chefs from Austria, Albania, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Czech Republic, Great Britain, Germany, Greece, Iceland, India, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Macedonia, Moldova, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Switzerland,Turkey and Ukraine have attended this event.
The event includes an international competition of junior, professional and pastry chefs, lectures, master classes and presentations.
“Association of Chefs from Mediterranean and European Regions from Split, Croatia has organized many gastronomy events in last twelve years since was established. Our goal is to celebrate cuisine through educations, presentations, festivals and culinary competitions, to improve professional skills and knowledge and to make Chefs even more attractive profession”, the organisers said.
