[PHOTOS] Croatia Airlines Welcomes 1,000,000th Passenger in 2017

Croatia Airlines welcomed on Tuesday its one millionth passenger, 11 days earlier than when it achieved the milestone last year.
“This year’s one millionth passenger was transported 11 days earlier than last year, and by the end of the year we plan to transport more than two million passengers in the year,” Krešimir Kučko, Croatia Airlines CEO, said.
Julia Susanne Halbritter from Germany, who was travelling on the Frankfurt-Split flight on Tuesday, was the lucky one millionth passenger. She received a gift pack from the airline and Split Airport.
In the first 6 months of 2017, Croatia Airlines have transported 10% more passengers than in the same period last year, with growth coming mainly in international flights.
The Airline is expecting 7% over the whole of 2017 compared to 2016.
During the tourist season, Croatia Airlines will operate 105 flights per day, travelling to 39 European destinations in 24 countries.
