The popular Croatian Museum of Illusions has expanded into Austria with the opening of a museum in Vienna.
The Museum of Illusions, which first opened in Zagreb in 2015 and since has opened in Zadar on the Dalmatian coast and in the Slovenian city of Ljubljana, has now opened in Vienna.
More than 70 different amazing exhibits, scores of puzzles and illusions have made the museum a popular tourist attraction in the Croatian capital since it opened two years ago, earning it a TripAdvisor 2017 Certificate of Excellence.
“You can defy gravity in a room where water flows uphill, see your friend, partner, even your teacher grow or shrink right before your eyes, get lost in a maze of mirrors, serve somebody`s head on a tray or just climb up onto the ceiling and make sure you take a photo of your accomplishment in the Rotated Room. Enjoy one of the largest hologram exhibitions in this part of Europe. Watch each optical illusion and carefully view each installation. They are entertaining and brilliant reminders that our perception of the world is sometimes just a perception,” states the museum.
