Croatia has arrived in Turkey on Monday afternoon ahead of their 2018 World Cup qualifier on Tuesday without of its stars.
Barcelona midfielder Ivan Rakitić will miss the match and did not travel with the side on the team doctor’s recommendation. Rakitić suffered a ‘slight’ hamstring injury in Croatia’s 1-0 victory over Kosovo on Sunday.
Croatia lead Group I on 16 points, five ahead of fourth-placed Turkey.

Croatia and Turkey drew 1-1 in Zagreb when the two sides’ first met in September 2016 and have not beaten Croatia in their previous eight encounters.
The match will be held at Stadium Eskişehir Yeni Stadyumu – Eskisehir with kickoff at 8:45 pm.
