Sun Gardens Dubrovnik Up for Best European Hotel for Families

After recent recognition at the 2017 World Luxury Spa Awards, and winning silver for the Best Family Hotel at the 2017 Junior Design Awards, Sun Gardens Dubrovnik has been nominated for Best European Hotel for Families at this year’s Family Traveller Awards.

Family Traveler is a UK luxury family magazine, as well as an unavoidable multi-platform guide in planning and organizing family travel. As the only hotel in Croatia which has been nominated, Sun Gardens Dubrovnik is in prestigious company of the most luxurious family hotels in Europe.

Apart from luxurious accommodation in residences and attractive facilities for complete relaxation, the resort offers a variety of activities for children of all ages, including special evening programs and childcare.

This year, the Sports Academy was set up for children between 7 and 15 years old, to play or improve their football, basketball, tennis or swimming / water polo skills through a fun and safe environment, with expert guidance from recognized coaches such as former Croatian football international Ognjena Vukojević who held a soccer academy for four weeks for all the participants.
